Are these real trash bags or a gag gift?

Both, and we refuse to choose. They're genuine 13-gallon tall-kitchen drawstring bags, 24"×28", at least 0.9 mil thick — standard quality or better. The print is the punchline; the bag is serious.

Will the print make them weaker?

No. The pattern is printed on the same spec film, not instead of it. If a bag ever fails on you, write us and we'll make it right — a trash bag brand cannot afford to be flimsy AND funny.

Wait — so I'm not charged today?

Correct: pledging is $0. We securely save your card with Stripe and charge it only if the Founding Drop hits its 1,000-roll goal and goes to print. Pledge early and you get first access when it launches.

When do I get my order?

If we hit the goal, your card is charged at close and your rolls ship 6–8 weeks after. The close date is on the drop page with a countdown, and everything ships from that one production run.

What if the drop doesn't hit its goal?

Then your card is simply never charged — there's no deposit held, so there's nothing to refund and nothing for you to do. We need 1,000 rolls to print; below that, nobody pays for a product that doesn't get made.

What's in the Mystery Box?

Three rolls chosen by us, sealed until your doorstep — plus one roll of The Encore, a design from the second drop that nobody outside this building has seen. We won't describe it. That's what mystery means.

How does the Founding Member subscription work?

A roll a month at $12, locked for as long as you stay — future price increases never touch you. $0 today: your card is saved as your pledge and billing starts only when your first roll ships (assuming we hit the goal). Skip a month or cancel anytime, no guilt trip.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not for the Founding Drop — keeping the first run simple keeps the pledge simple. International friends: join the email list and vote loudly.

Are they recyclable / eco-anything?

Honest answer: they're plastic trash bags, so we won't greenwash them. We've asked every factory we're vetting to quote a recycled-content version, the pledge model means zero unsold inventory, and 25¢ of every order funds community cleanups. That's what's true today; when more is true, we'll say so.

What does 'founding price' mean?

The struck-through price is the planned retail after launch. Founding Drop buyers pay the lower price now — and as a thank-you, founding prices show up again every time we owe you one.
